An engineer and Ph.D. Independent consultant in advanced energy systems, energy policy and low carbon technologies. Member of the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development of Catalonia (CADS) and member of the committee of experts on energy transition in Spain promoted by the Minister of Energy (Madrid).
I’ve developed my entire career in the sustainable energy sector, from applied R&D (2 PCT granted) to industry (microgrids, renewables and ICT for energy efficiency). After some years technology-focused, I moved to the non-technical aspects of energy transition, such as regulation, business models, consumer behavior and social perception of technology. Lecturer at University of Barcelona (www.ub.edu). Energy divulgator at www.smartgrid.cat to promote the debate around energy transition. Last related-works are “smart metering data access” and “Aggregation of Distributed Energy Resources: Barriers and Recommendations for a comprehensive market development”.
