Mathias Herberts is recognized as a Big Data pioneer in France for having deployed the first Hadoop cluster in production in the banking sector and used HBase for customer facing banking applications as early as 2009. He also worked at Google in the Big Table Service Group. His latest endeavor is focusing on managing and analyzing sensor data. He serves as co-founder and CTO, leading the development of the Warp 10 suite of tools, an Open Source offering used in many different verticals, from aeronautics, to high frequency trading, electronic warfare and of course energy where those tools are used to manage massive historical datasets while enabling their analysis at scale in a simple and efficient way.
