Manel Romero Molina, nacido en Sabadell (Barcelona) en 1975, es Ingeniero Industrial por la Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya (UPC), especializado en energías renovables, ámbito en el que cuenta con una dilatada experiencia. Desde 2005, es socio cofundador y responsable del área técnica de SUD Renovables (www.sud.es). Desde el 2015 es, además, representante de UNEF en Cataluña, y miembro de su Junta Directiva. Colabora habitualmente en la divulgación del sector de las energías renovables, mediante artículos técnicos en revistas especializadas, y dando clases en universidades y programas de máster. Previamente fue socio de Ecotècnia (empresa pionera en España de energía eólica, hoy integrada General Electric), compañía en la que desarrolló su actividad profesional como ingeniero de parques eólicos.

Manel Romero Molina, who was born in Sabadell (Barcelona) in 1975, is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), specializing in renewable energies, an area in which he has extensive experience. Since 2005, he is a co-founder and CTO of SUD Renovables. Since 2015, he is also the UNEF Catalan Delegate, and a member of its Board of Directors. He regularly collaborates in the divulgation of the renewable energy sector, through technical articles in specialized magazines, and teaching at universities and master’s programs. Previously, he was a partner of Ecotècnia (a wind energy pioneer company in Spain, now integrated in General Electric), a company in which he developed his professional activity as a wind farm engineer.
